Pediatric Atopic Dermatitis

Atopic dermatitis or eczema is a type skin disorder,which causes the skin to itch,turn red and usually appears in babies or very young children, and may last until the child reaches adolescence or adulthood.With respective of age the locations where eczema occurs may change which is found in infants and young children on the face,outside the elbows,and on the knees. In severe cases the child's physician may also prescribe medications.The medications which are most commonly used to treat eczema are as follows:

·         Antihistamines.

·         Steroid creams

.         Oral antibiotics
